A new catalogue of Norway’s perfins has been published. It was presented at the recent PCN meeting in De Bilt.
PCN members Pieter Reijbroek and Pieter Gommans are the creators of this catalogue.
As with many countries, lists of perfins for Norway could be found, some more extensive than others. However, a catalogue containing an overview of the stamps in which those perforations were found was not available. They therefore began to conduct their own inventory and compiled a first version of such a catalogue based on internet sources, their own collections, and additions by other collectors. This first version of the catalogue contains approximately 130 different perforations found in Norwegian stamps.
Printed on A5 paper, the catalogue, including cover and explanatory notes, is approximately 170 pages long.
A digital version (PDF format) is available free of charge. The catalogue will soon also be available for download on this website under Extra/Downloads.
A paper version, bound with a ring binding, costs € 15 (excluding shipping costs). An order placed by PCN members can be brought to one of the PCN meetings. No ‘stock’ is created, so you must indicate in advance that you would like a printed version of the catalogue.
Naturally, such a catalogue is never complete. New submissions are very welcome! You can send them by email to Pieter Reijbroek (pieterr@xs4all.nl) or Pieter Gommans (pietergommans@kpnmail.nl).
